Dakota Baptist Convention Part-Time Assistant

The Dakota Baptist Convention is looking for a part-time ministry assistant to work 12-15 hours per week in their Rapid City office. The Dakota Baptist Convention is a network of about 85 Southern Baptist churches in South and North Dakota. Job Overview:  This position is for a Youth Pastor/Director As Youth Pastor/Director, this role will oversee the development and implementation of all activity and discipleship processes within the Youth Ministry (YM) at The Little White Church (LWC), for youth 6th through 12th grades.

Responsibilities as Youth Pastor/Director

– Aid the Pastoral Staff and Board of Elders in the implementation of the LWC mission and vision.

– Take the lead in planning, leading, and providing oversight to Youth activities, outreach, and education in all YM spiritual growth processes from 6th â'” 12th grade.

– Recruit, develop, and train all volunteers, adult, and student leaders into various YM ministry roles.

Networks with local CPCs, hospital, OBGyN, shelters and maternity homes through regular contact, trainings, and attending events. Reports regularly to State Director.
