Good News Clubs

Mon Jan 16th 3:00pm - Thu Apr 20th 3:00pm Canyon Lake, Corral Drive, Grandview, Pinedale, and Rapid Valley Elementary Schools, sponsored by: The Black Hills Chapter Child Evangelism Fellowship, 7219 Tanager Drive, Rapid City, SD 57702, USA Good News Clubs are once a week after school Bible Clubs that emphasize good character through Bible lessons, games, songs and memorizing Bible verses. Clubs are held on Tuesdays or Thursdays and will run until either the end of February or the middle of April, depending on the school. The clubs are for children who attend the schools where the clubs are held. Clubs do not meet during school holidays, early release days or when school is closed because of adverse weather. The sponsoring organization, Child Evangelism Fellowship is an international, interdenominational Christian organization. The First Annual Pastor's Breakfast is sponsored by The Black Hills Pregnancy Center. This will be held on Friday, March 24 at the Holiday Inn Rapid City Downtown at 7:00 am. Hear how your church can be involved in ministry serving the families of the Black Hills Pregnancy Center making a positive impact in our community. Who is the Black Hills Pregnancy Center? We are a non-profit ministry that provides a wide range of services to women and men involved in an unexpected pregnancy. Our goal is to provide positive alternatives with practical support. Invitation to Sing in the Easter Cantata Choir

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Marlene Kotab, coordinator for the Sturgis-Area Easter Cantata, invites all adult singers to join the 2023 cantata choir. The 14th Cantata performances are slated for Palm Sunday, April 2nd and Tuesday, April 4th. Rehearsals will begin in February at Grace Lutheran Church and will continue every Sunday through March 26th. There is one Thursday evening practice on March 30th at 7:00pm. It is important to attend all of the rehearsals. Because of the Dave Martinson Big Band Concert on Sunday, February 19, another time/date will be arranged. Rehearsals will run from 1:30 - 3:00pm. It is one of the few opportunities for adults to sing in a large choir and is a faith-filling experience for everyone involved in the concert. Singers from the 2020 choir may still have their book, “What Love Is This,” which is the 2023 choice. Please let Marlene know if you still have your book or to reserve one and a spot in the choir. He and his family had two tours of duty at Ellsworth AFB flying the B- 1B bomber in addition to commanding the 2 8th Operations Group.  He served thirty- four years on active duty culminating as the Assistant Vice Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force.

Tickets are $25 and are available at Alternative Fuel Coffee House or Fischer Furniture.
