Twists and Turns Vacation Bible School

5:15 PM - 7:45 PM

Where: Peace Lutheran Church at 219 E St. Anne St Rapid City SD 57701 When: June 12th through June 16th, 2023 Time: 5:15 pm to 7:45 pm each evening Spin the spinner, beat the clock, skip ahead, level up, and play to win! You’ll need to bring your A-game for this VBS. Twists & Turns is a fantastical celebration of games of all kinds. From classic tabletop games to video games and more, kids will play their way through VBS while learning that Jesus guides them through all the twists and turns of their lives. They’ll find that even when they mess up it’s never “game over.”

Mental Health Lunch & Learn

An educational opportunity for the community to learn more about mental health conditions will be held Friday June 16 at Noon at Venue 519 in Belle Fourche. The cost to cover lunch is $10. The topic for this first session is "Depression" and will be presented by Spearfish Counseling Center and Belle Fourche Methodist Church. (Romans 8:37) Event begins on Saturday, 9:00am with an Outdoor Breakfast of pancakes, sausage and eggs on the griddle, so bring your appetite! Our first guest speaker, Bonnie Klein will be sharing her powerful testimony. After a light lunch, Kari Perkins Stephens of Get Up & Get Real Ministry from Conroe, TX will present a power packed message. 5-Day Clubs

A team of teenagers will have your child(ren) engaged from the moment they arrive. They will begin with active games as the children gather and then move into the church to teach the children songs about faith and the Gospel. Each day the children will be taught a new memory verse using fun activities to encourage memorization. There will be a Bible lesson that captures their attention and helps them learn more about God, His love for them, and what it means to have a relationship with God. A mission story from the past and information about a current missionary will also be presented. And there will be snacks! For children ages 4 to 12, younger children are also welcome when a accompanied by an adult. We are looking forward to seeing you there! Keepers of the Kingdom VBS at Word of Hope

We are engaged in an epic battle for the hearts and minds of our youth. Every day, they’re bombarded with lies about who they are, who their Creator is, and where their salvation comes from. Thankfully, God has given his children armor to wear in this battle between truth and lies, light and darkness, good and evil. With Keepers of the Kingdom, your kids will learn how they can be part of God’s kingdom through salvation in his Son and will be equipped with the armor of God to become Keepers of the Kingdom—Standing in today’s battle for truth. A light supper (free will donation) will be served 5:00-5:30pm Monday-Thursday. The whole family is invited to the VBS BBQ picnic Friday evening.
