Passages Living 10 Year Anniversary Celebration

5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

10 Years of nurturing women from incarceration or homelessness to positive community living! Keynote Speaker: Ashton Cantou Ashton Cantou is a Certified Transformational Life Coach, Leadership Coach, Speaker, and Author. There will be a reception with snacks and drinks, silent auction, and program including the 2022 graduates and 2023 milestones. Hear about what we have accomplished and what is coming next! We hope to have some exciting announcements and see all the familiar faces of women who have been involved in the program as well as those community members who helped Passages go from a vision to a reality! It has certainly taken a village!!

Life INC & Clothe-A-Kid Summer Sign Ups!

Life INC and Clothe-A-Kid, both ministries of Love INC of the Black Hills, are taking registrations for the Summer Life INC Classes! Registration are open from now until June 9th. To sign up for classes and Clothe-A-Kid, text register to 605.939.7402 or visit https://loveinconline.com/black-hills-life-inc-registration/ The Life INC Program offers a variety of free adult education classes on throughout the year hosted at local churches. Class topics frequently include finances, parenting, Christianity, nutrition & cooking, dealing with trauma, and whole-life mentoring. A meal, children’s ministry, and transportation are provided free of charge. Courses typically last 6-8 weeks in length. Participants who graduate from their class (attend 6 0f 7 sessions) can earn a $200 Kohls gift card. To be eligible for Clothe-A-Kid participants must have a dependent child living with them in K-12th grade and provide proof of dependency and child's birthdate. Life INC will be meeting at First Assembly of God on Monday nights in June and July this summer, starting June 12 and running through July 31 with the exception of July 10. Our summer series will be mainly focused on providing training for outdoor family activities and adventures, encouraging our participants to spend time with family outside in God’s creation. We hope to include sessions about camping, hiking, gardening, and car maintenance just to name a few. We also are offering a class titled "Building Strong Disciples" which focuses on building a strong Christian faith and is applicable to all Christians. Each night begins at 5:30 with a free community meal for all participants and volunteers, and class starts at 6 p.m. Life INC Kids Ministry is available for all kids ages 0-11 years old. Adults can drop their kids off and go to class knowing their kids will be in a safe and fun environment. where they will learn about Jesus. 3rd Annual Art Festival

All Day Event

Mark your calendar! The 3rd Annual Sturgis Art Festival will take place on Saturday, June 3rd 2023 from 10am to 6pm in downtown Sturgis! Our last two years have been a HUGE success, with 50+ vendors and growing! We are thrilled to welcome even more artists, crafters, and businesses at the 2023 festival. Check out the tentative event line-up: • 10AM: Art, Craft, & Food Vendors Open to the Public Our vendors will be set up and ready to roll starting at 10am! Stroll through the downtown Sturgis area to browse artist booths, kids' activities, and light musical entertainment. • 11AM: Sturgis Artwalk - 2023 Sculpture Unveiling Ceremony This special addition will happen at 11am during the Sturgis Art Festival to help kick off festivities! Stop by for a walking tour of the four new sculptures on display for the 2023 calendar year. This part of the festival is hosted by the Downtown Sturgis Foundation. • 12PM: Children's Musical Performance (tentative) Enjoy our annual Children's Musical feature on the Rally Point stage at noon during this year's festival! Previous performances have included numbers from The Greatest Showman and Grease! • 2PM: Battle of the Bands Kickoff It's time to get a little grunge at 2pm when we kick off the Legendary Sturgis Battle of the Bands! This family-friendly competition will feature bands of all experience levels, genres, and ages from across the region. This year's festival will feature some stellar additions to bring in more of the vibrant arts focus, more traffic, and more support for our community and businesses. 6th annual Old Fashioned Tent Revival - free event June 4 - 7

5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Just outside of Hulett, on the JH Ranch, we’ll gather for the 6th annual Old Fashioned Tent Revival on the Ranch by the River, Sunday, June 4th through Wednesday, June 7th featuring special speakers and music each evening. Gathering starts at 5pm and speakers begin at 6pm. Opening night, Sunday, guest speaker, Nathan Winters, Advocacy Director of Family Policy Alliance. Monday evening features special speakers from RAM Center Restoration and Mentoring sharing with us their powerful, personal testimonies. Tuesday will feature Pastor Dave Jagemann of Chapel of Faith in Sundance bringing us a spirit filled message for today. And Wednesday brings back Oil Patch Preacher - The PREACHER IN THE PATCH, Ron Evitt along with a special guest musician, and Riley Dakota and The Sweet Crude Band. Bring your own chairs and join us for this FREE event! Free snacks and water can be found inside the tent. No alcohol please. How to find the revival? Located on Hwy 24, south of Hulett, approximately 1 and 1/4 mile to a gravel driveway with red gates. Watch for signs at the gate entrance.
