Reginald & Johnetta Lewis – Open Bible Church

They are very compassionate couple that dedicate their time to those in need. Being new to their congregation, and new to SD, we found ourselves in trouble at Wonderland. We need to have our motorcycle trike towed. We called them just to get a name and number of someone they would recommend. To our surprise they said they’d be there shortly. They picked up a trailer, another member of the church and came to our rescue, without a second thought. They drove us to our mechanic to drop off bike and gave us a lift home in Rapid City. To us, God was watching over us and showed us a congregation that we could call family. We’ve seen them do this for many of the families in the congregation. They are teaching us how to be Jesus for one another through their words and actions. – Kathleen

Elementary Teacher

Calvary Christian School, located in Rapid City, South Dakota is currently accepting applications for a third grade, fourth grade, and part-time kindergarten teacher. Applicants must have a valid teaching certificate, outstanding classroom management skills and the ability to create a biblically-based, engaging, and vibrant learning environment for students. Responsibilities include working with a partner teacher to prep lessons, teach, and lead students toward mastery learning in all content areas. Calvary has been serving families in the Rapid City area since 1983 and currently serves students in PreK3 through 5th grade. Applicants must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christlike love for children and their families, and wholehearted support for the school’s mission, purpose, and Statement of Faith and Conduct.
