Click on the first Picture to start viewing each picture larger. August of 2011, Jamie Knapp had the opportunity to Co-Lead a missions trip with Mission of Mercy to Choluteca, Honduras. She and 40 listeners had a vacation bible school event for the children in 2 different projects. The team also built a kitchen for the children. "It really was such a fantastic opportunity and a humbling experience to see how these people lived, yet the projects we went to, had the hope of Christ. The kids that are sponsored by families, they have the opportunity to know Christ and know hope. They also can get medical care and meals. They get to learn in school. $34 a month certainly without a doubt changes the lives of these children and their families. I have to admit, it took getting over my fears to just Go. God taught me (through all what I thought was scary) that He had the upper hand in it all, that I was foolish to doubt or not trust Him in certain situations. I came back with reverse culture shock.
